Madhubhai Babubhai Shrivastav: denied ticket, Madhu parts his ways from BJP
Madhu Shirvastav Madhu has been elected by Waghodia six times. First he was elected as MLA from Waghodia as an independent candidate in 1995. Since 1998 he has been contesting as a BJP candidate. He has won the Waghodiya seat as a BJP candidate in 1998, 2002, 2007, 2012 and 2017.
On learning that he had been denied a Ticket by BJP, Madhu Shrivastav convened a meeting of his supporters. After the meeting he read out, for the media, an open letter, giving his resignation from BJP, to Shri C.R. Patil, President of BJP’s Gujarat State unit. Then he declared his candidature as an independent candidate for the constituency of Waghodia for the elections to be held in December 2022.
AAP names its candidate for Chief Ministership
The president of AAP has named Isudan Gadhvi, as its candidate for Chief Ministership of Gujarat State for the forthcoming elections of December 2022. The President said that the decision had been taken after a poll conducted by the party.
