Wang Wenbin said that it was an interference by USA in the internal affairs of China.
The Indian Army has announced that there was a brief engagement between Indian and Chinese armed forces in Tawang area, Arunanchal Predesh. About 300 Chinese soldiers intruded into Arunanchal Pradesh, a province of India. They were pushed back into China and in the skirmishes, six Indian soldiers were injured. Even a larger number of Chinese soldiers may have suffered during the cold weather. But there is, as yet, no official information from China.
Tawang area is critical for the defense of India and its eastern areas.
At the snow-bound border, the wars take place at slow motion and it is quite possible that this brief encounter may be a portent of something bigger.
Meanwhile sanctions were imposed on two Heads of two Chinese Fish Companies, working in the Tibetan Autonomous Region (the neighbouring region of Arunanchal Pradesh of India) by USA. They were accused of Human Rights violations in the field of labour. The sanctions were according to the Global Magnitsky Human Rights Accountability Act, which aims to pursue, unilaterally, foreign citizens accused of acts of corruption or violations of fundamental rights.
